What's Included

Here's what a Rock Solid Trade Account gives you

No setup fee, no monthly minimum, no tie-in. Order when you need us, settle up monthly, and pay only for the concrete you pour. Here's exactly what comes with the account.

30-day credit terms (EOM + 30)

Invoiced monthly. Settle end of month plus 30 days. No card machines on site, no pay-before-pour, no chasing the office for an order release. Subject to a credit check.

Terms EOM + 30 once your account is approved

Pay for what's poured on volumetric loads

On a volumetric (mix-on-site) load, the driver confirms the actual poured volume at the end of the pour, so you're billed for what came out of the wagon, not what was estimated. Drum-mixer loads are billed on what's batched. Note: on mix-on-site work, a minimum charge of 80% of the booked volume applies once you're taking more than 4m³ in a day.

Billing Per m³ poured volumetric loads

Technical support on bigger pours

Bespoke mix design, pump coordination, and continuous-pour planning so a large pour doesn't stall. We review the spec and plan wagon arrivals with you ahead of the day.

Who It's For

Built for people who pour on a schedule

You don't need to be a national contractor. If you're ordering regularly, monthly, weekly, or every few days, a trade account will save you time and money.

  • Groundworks contractors, ordering on behalf of the housebuilder
  • Main contractors, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use builds
  • Housebuilders & developers, national PLCs, regional developers, custom-build operators
  • Self-builders, particularly 18-month+ projects with 6 to 10 scheduled pours
  • Fencers, landscapers, paviours, volume buyers of standard mixes
  • Farmers & agricultural contractors, regular yard, barn, and silage work

Typical qualifying volume: 20m³+ per month, or a single pour of 15m³+. Below that, pay-as-you-go with our instant pricing usually works out simpler.

FAQ

Trade account questions

How long does approval take?

Usually a couple of working days once we have your complete application and two contactable trade references. Approval is subject to a credit check, so we can't promise every application is accepted, but we'll always let you know either way. Urgent pour booked? Call us on 024 7636 1448 and we'll help.

Is there a minimum order, monthly minimum, or tie-in?

No, no, and no. £0 setup, £0 monthly minimum, no exit fee. Use the account when you need us. If your account has been inactive for a while, we may need to review it (and re-run a credit check) before your next order.

What credit limit will I get?

Your limit is set by the credit check and your trading history. We review it as your account builds up a clean payment record, so it can grow over time.

Do I get a better rate for ordering more?

Your price is quoted per order based on the mix, the volume, and the delivery. If you're pouring regular volume, talk to us, we'll always quote you our best price for the work.

What if my business doesn't qualify for credit?

New companies or sole traders may start on pro-forma terms (pay-on-order) and move onto credit terms once the account has a period of clean trading behind it. You can still order from us straight away, just without the 30-day terms until then.

Do you supply groundwork subs on housebuilder sites?

Yes, this is the majority of our trade business. Our trade customers work on subcontract for Barratt, Persimmon, Taylor Wimpey, Bellway, Bloor, Vistry, and David Wilson sites across the Midlands.

What documentation comes with each load?

A delivery note (POD) and a batch ticket showing the mix and the time of batch, with every load. Cube test results are available on request, at extra cost and subject to cube-tester availability. Conformity certificates for BS 8500 are available on request for your records.

How do I place an order?

Call or email the office. Once your account is set up we'll have your details and usual mixes on file, so reordering is quick. Get your order in as early as you can, especially for a first pour of the day, as the earliest slots fill up.
